Value-added Service (VAS)

A value-added service (VAS) offered by a network or its resellers generates additional revenue by providing additional benefits to subscribers. The total revenues of VAS are calculated from the total revenues of SMS, mobile data and information services. All other revenues from value-added services are treated as transparent and included in call charges or subscription revenues.
